BIG TEX and I played a dogfight round together and didn't shoot each other...IT WAS REALLY FUN! good practice for team tactics as well. I got 16 kills that round (because the 15th was chute to chute)it's nice having a wing man. with squad wars coming...I'd say no, it isn't cheating. call it practice or a hunting trip.

Hey Doghouse, I saw that guy flying the MOM tag, too. I thought, though, that it was BADLUCK13, level 28 ranked #19th overall. I asked dogss, who'd just joined the game as BADLUCK left, but I'm not clear on what his answer was...he was too preoccupied with shooting my ears off.

Anybody know the story?

BADLUCK 13 was in the same game. we were both baffled. just a noob imposter poseur i guess. not good player and certainly not mom material.

Good game btw. taked the carrier, then he opend fire, but to late.
I did opend fire on some anothers MOM to day to, but i dont want to.
Hope zuperman can fix the squadron balance inn the game.

Salento, I agree with Doghouse. Flying as squadron mates is a blast. I posted a note about Felabad and I doing the same, I think it might've been the first time anyone's had a chance to try it and it really did feel like a taste of what playing as a team is going to be. Same as you we each got 15 or so kills in a pretty short span of time and we were always covering each other's backs. That and being total wiseasses is what M.O.M is all about!

your forum name is not changeable as far as i know. as for squad alliance during the capture/bomb/zeppelin games goes, you are really screwing your team by not engaging moms(plus who doesn't like a little mom on mom action?).

Dobbelt aim agenst a MOM i think its not nice, maybe better to take out his team mate first, if they are heading to ur hangar. Lose the game is not a option

No, i live whit my wife and 3 kids. I play dog fight when am on work, thats why am inn and out of games all the time.

Heh. Sorry about that Doghouse. I think you're talking about that dogfight match we were in last night. I realized after I shot you that (I think) you wanted help going after a tank spawn killer, no? Only I didn't see the tank until too late!

Anyway, the mission I suck worst at is dogfight mode so I'm a fairly easy target for payback. Can never seem to stay interested long enough to get to 15 kills first. The idea of teaming up with squad mates does sound like it might make things more interesting in dogfight mode. We need an easy-to-remember in-game code word for it though. I propose "YFMLNSEOFABSWCWTUQAGBTABTBOBTCG!" it stands for "yo! Fellow MOMs, let's not shoot each other for a bit so we can wrap this up quickly and get back to a bomb the base or bomb the carrier game!" That should do it (and the kids think we can't text!)

Re the issue of people flying the MOM tag uninvited, how do we prevent that and/or how do we deal with it after it happens? I mean are there any consequences besides being called out on it? I think the practical consequence should be that a player who isn't listed on the squads official roster can't play squad wars (whenever that happens).

Am not sure what another squad do, we shud do the same or maybe be more bad .
I listen to the squad any way.

Make my orders, if somewon have to blacklist a player, i spawnkill or team kill.
and am ok with it

If we just flew together as a Squad in the "dogfight" game repeatedly. Wouldn't that force the other Squads to follow suit? I know we would be gaming up on the non affiliated players, but DUH...

THEN..... We would eccentually be Starting "Squad Wars" when ever we are in just the Dogfight mode game. I know it would be hit and miss at times... Just a thought..

Only if the teams are somewhat fair "maybe". As it is I've seen many games lately where there are 7 on one to 6 on 2. I'm usually on the lower side.... had many games lately where "Get Dentin" is said...I'm not that good....is it the rank......if so take the rank away Zuperman....I'm getting way to frustrated lately......

Well on to other work.....Gotta backhoe to fix...then off to work fixin airplanes....and some dogfight in between

I know I am quoting myself here, but maybe disreguard this for now. Let Zupperman figure it out. This just may cause more animosity towards M.O.M (like we really care anyway).. ALSO, they would pick on Dentinhead even more..


one more thing, theres this guy "Wino"... I don't know how old he is, but he was giving fits to me (I know, no big deal!)but also shot *XREIDX* down numerous times.. He's good, seemed real nice.. Anyone else seen him?

Bad choice of wording, sorry.. Players go after the higher ranks, makes them feel good to shoot down someone of superior skills. M.O.M is, "Loaded For Bear" with skilled players of which you are high on that list, Dentinhead.

I shot down The Vampire the other day , Made me feel good for how ever long it took for him to get airborne again. The kill ratio was about 15 to 1..oviously not in my favor...

What a sad day indeed here at work today. Wifi is out and I am stuck with only my crumby 3G! I played a game earlier and it was like watching an old stop action movie effect but, much worse.

But yes, that "slideshow" effect, with a plane in your sights, then empty landscape, then the same plane roughly inside your shirt, then BANG. Anybody got a line on a Commodore 64 with Google Play Store access? I could get better performance out of a kite.

Wino, I've played in missions with him a bunch, happily usually on the same side...definitely someone we should seek out provided he's unaffiliated. I also got taken to school by a guy called Ziegler. No interaction other than his shooting and my dying so no sense of his personality or compatibility with M.O.M core values (of which we have none) but, hey Ziegler, if by stroke of luck you're reading this, drop us a note and pretend to be really smart and really cool. If you can fake it well enough, you're in.

This discussion about teaming up in Dogfight missions? I think you all already know how I feel. I just hadn't processed it quite as intelligently as SheiBe, how it could on occasion serve as Squadron Battle Lite. Brilliant. And I don't see a thing wrong with following up on it, from Joaquin's, Slender's, or anyone else's perspective. As already pointed out, they can do it too if they like. Anytime any fellow M.O.M sees me in-game, Dogfight mission-wise, consider us teamed.
