Cant it be that the game looks at all the points that all the players have earned on a given side and decide the winning side on that basis? if a player switches, then the points earned before the switch remain where they were earned.

Because the game already has provided proportionate weight to shooting a plane, shooting a pilot in parachute, shooting/bombing a tank and destroying hangars and bombing ships.

Good point Armament. The draw is a drag! I've nearly won several games only to have it end. Frustrating!

yep I have had several games with about 20 seconds left and I'm about to drop the last bomb(s) to win, only to get a premature draw.

Same here. Dunc and I were seconds from winning a CTC game. My controls when crazy and plane veered off--DRAW. Ugh.

I've been flying the WWII planes, as they take less time to get across field/water. Helps, but not by much.

Well, apparently our big guy HorribleBreast turned 33 today, so a big happy b-day to HB!!!

thank you all for the well wishes! i had a pretty nice time at work tonight. the new job is very intense but when everything goes right, you feel good about all that sweat running down your cheek.

Hey all, my holiday starts now. Tomorrow my wife and i drive to the 'Bodensee lake ' in southern Germany, biggest lake in the country close to Austria and Switzerland.
It's the original place where the first Zeppelin's were constructed and built over 100 years ago. The town called 'Friedrichshafen ' and is just 6 miles away from our holiday flat.
Will post a few pics when im back.

My first game in Elite with the timer where I was able to get over 30 kills!

Not bad! How long was the total game?

20 minutes.

It was mostly Dangerous Toy and myself against Frits, Edeweiss, and one other player (forget his name, maybe it was Dick77), but Toy left, then that other player left, so I had the last 8 minutes or so just against Frits and Edeweiss.

You really can rack up the kills if you're 1:3 and can defend fairly well.

No hangers were taken out, and I almost made it in to bomb, but just as I was getting to the other side of the allied hill I went empty. Really wish we could upgrade the ammo on those planes. Now I'm saving up to get the Zero because it has more ammo.

Games now 80 minutes? %)

Yep Jasta, Zup mentioned it in another thread that he changed it to 80 minutes.
