On a side note, for some reason I am unable to chat in game. Chat and squad chat, no problem. So if I don't say Hi or anything else its only because I cant. I am open to suggestions on how to fix that if anybody has any.

I made 40,000 kills tonight, and only about 170,000 away from leveling up.

well here we go with our first top 30 since the switch to DF Elite. like all things with elite, it is kinda wacky. a lot of changes going on so we will continue to wait and see what develops but here is our top 30 from elite.

I am posting this again due to what both GhostWolf and I saw a member do in Elite. GhostWolf being a good member with the ability to add, and kick members from a squad did so after the game was over.



We have three simple rules:

• Be nice
• Fly often
• Be respectful of other squads.

However, we also fly with honor; not using glitches, not using profanity, etc. and we fly with integrity; not doing anything to disgrace ourselves or the squad.

Someone recently said I was a monk, because I always had to remind him not to use profanity (in-game and on the forum). I'm not a monk, but there are rules that Zup has created for this game, and not to be offensive towards different ages, different cultures, different races, etc. thus if you fly with honor and integrity, you will abide by those simple rules.

Have fun, and if you really don't like what Gunner's Inc. stands for, and you want to act differently than our standards, then that's ok. But please go fly with another squad or fly alone, we won't hold it against you. Fly in a squad or alone where you will be happy. But if you're going to stay in the Gunner's Inc. then don't do anything to disgrace the outstanding reputation that Gunner's Inc. has.

I have only been in Gunner's Inc. since I was level 12 I believe. I left for one week to join the Wolf Pack in honor of our alliance with them. I believe in what Gunner's Inc. stands for, and I maintain that honor and integrity of the squad. Not just because of some ideal in an online game, but I do my best to have integrity and honor in my personal life.

I'm always happy to see a GI in the sky with me, either Red or Blue, I know I don't have to worry about a GI playing dirty. But sometimes someone that just doesn't fit in will raise their nose, and we are quick to give them the boot.

Eagle & Fellow Gunners,

Thanks for posting. Not a good day when we have to kick a fellow GI. But I've never witnessed a GI enter a game and endlessly harass and call a player a foul name. This was after both myself, Eagle and RT asked them to stop. Player never said a word to us and continued the behavior.

Not much happening right now.

HB is very busy but still finds the time to do the top 30.

Some players really have enjoyed the switch to Elite while others haven't.

And we had to kick another player for not meeting GI standards. Eren Jaeger was in an Elite game with Ghost Wolf and I when he started taunting another player, calling him many bad names, even after we all told him to knock it off. So he immediately got the boot.

I said this once before, and I'll say it again:

You know, it's pretty easy NOT to get muted or banned in this game.

Some days yes, some days not so much.

I decided to stick it out in a CTC game this morning after almost everyone else lost connection or just lost interest in it. It was just me vs. [NLR] Mad Max 2, and Mad was owning me! Eventually it got to the point that he was able to get inside my carrier before I could get to his. It was a lot closer, so I headed for my boat in hopes of digging him out before he managed to get it to neutral (it was getting close). Fortunately, Mad crashed inside the boat, and I had a partner log on.

My partner, a highly ranked, seasoned veteran of DF1 (I know because he made a point of telling me ), took off for the red carrier, I was almost at the blue carrier, so I decided to go ahead and put a little more blue on our slider . . . Mad is very good at landing inside the carrier.

Within a minute or less of joining the match, my expert partner first questioned where I was going, eventually called me a moron and accused me of running away.

I’m going to chalk it up to just a simple difference of opinion on tactics, and my teammate making a snap judgement without knowing all the facts . . . but under the right circumstances, we all have a “that was easy” button, and he found mine this morning.

I don't know how long the whole match lasted, but it was a long game by the time it was done. I never called my teammate anything, but we bickered like an old married couple (to the amusement or misery of everyone that eventually joined the match), and I was pretty darned sarcastic with him. As stupid as it would have been, I really wanted to say several things that could have gotten me muted or worse.

But you didn't say what would have gotten you banned.

It's one thing to get upset, maybe even scream to the gods, but it's another thing to take the time to type out in the game or the forum something that will get you banned.

I think it was Hulk that stated he will write everything out to get all his frustrations out, then read again, edit if necessary, then post, or just delete everything and not post.

But some people seem to go out of their way to get banned, or at least push the envelope, knowing full well they may get muted and/or banned.

I was even told by one player that in real life he cusses like a drunk sailor, but has never let that slip into this game, either in-game or on the forum.

Guys, i checked DF 1 today and turns out it is still alive. i had this great game!

I already deleted DF1, I only have Elite now.

happy wednesday to the gunners! i used to have a more 'normal' schedule but now am more of a night owl.

i'd really like to say thanks to you awesome guys and gals that keep the place humming. i am currently downloading an update for elite and should be air ready at some point here.

i managed to get a big win! the game was quite laggy so planes were kinda appearing from every which way. good fun! lol

here's a good convo starter....do you all stay at the same altitude you did for df1 or do you fly higher?

I fly a bit lower these days. As a wolf, I'm drawn to the trees....

Typically I stay about the same, but many times I actually fly lower, the risk though is flying into trees, but I found a neat little path I like going into the Allied base.

most fly lower than in df1 cuz of the cover the trees provide,me in particular i fly low for the fun of it as most of u have already seen

I have found a diving aircraft harder to hit in elite, so have been using about the same as you, 300m, as a starting point. Once you dive you have lost the gravity/speed advantage and have to play in the trees. This hybrid snake/wolf thing likes trees as well, but am not quite as skilled as some of the more active reds down in the weeds at this point. Besides, once you are feet wet there is no place to hide....

I like to switch up altitudes myself. I tend to do a lot of ground hugging, but I will occasionally switch it up often going up as high as she'll go. Mostly because I get tired of traveling so darned slow all the time, but I also like diving in on the straight up the middle jousters while they're locked up on one of my teammates.

What's a guy to do?

Flew a couple of great games tonight. Although lag seems to hit and odd things happen.

--Bullets take out some planes but not all. Some you have to fill with lead.
--Planes vanish and reappear.
--I was kicked from several games, but that seemed to be the norm for all.
--I shot down a plane that was in a constant forward and back motion in a cloud.
--The norm of 8 hangars need only 4 bombs. Maybe that's a glitch or a good thing.
--Last game of night was in a bring down the giant zep. Planes flew backward and some pilots had bullet-proof armor.....ahem...Eagle!

Work in progress, I guess. Overall seeing a lot of people flying from various squads.
