Hey guys, I was hoping to see our weekly top 30, announcements, and the wing top 10.

If you've gone into DF1 then you've seen the following message:

Dogfight is discontinued. All your info is now on Elite. Download update from www.dogfightelite.com and login with email.

Therefore, if you're not going to be making the shift to Elite, then it's been good flying with you. But if you are going to join us in Elite, then welcome to the club, and all the top 30, etc. will be changing as the numbers will be coming from there.

DF1 has been good and fun, but as with all things, times changes things. Therefore, time to join us in Elite. It may take some adjustment to get use to the aim, etc. but just like DF1, we all eventually got better.

I do really like the idea of Gunners Inc 2016, then on January 1st we create a new one Gunners Inc 2017. We can even list the top 30, scores, etc. and at the end of the year recalculate and see how everyone improved, etc. Then close the 2016 thread so it can't be posted on anymore, and it becomes a historical document.

Sorry if i'm intruding but there is a way around all that, just delete every post up to HB's first post on page 7 i think it was page 7? this will take some time but it does work. You should copy and paste all your rules on page one to HB's very first post first, i only say HB as the new thread owner is because every post before page 7 is Gunnerzz and kestrel a long with a few other's.

This is an excellent idea, Tbuilt! The nice thing is it allows us to keep all the original posts and refer to them.

Honestly, I'm open to either option, as a new start sounds fun too.

Yes that's an option, but if we lock down this thread, and create a new thread, then it will become a moot point anyway. Or better yet, do both. hehehe

Ghost, yes we can still refer to the original posts, but how often do people go back and read all 300+ pages? If start a new one each year, then you only have a little ways to go back, but if you want to go back further, then just open up the previous year thread to find the reference.

I like that idea! Starting a new Gunner Inc 2016 thread for Elite sounds exciting.

hello all and welcome to the D-Day edition of our top 30!

this will be the last top 30 from Dogfight 1. when i got onto world chat today there was a message telling me to switch to elite. so starting next week i will compile the top 30 based on DF Elite stats. i am not sure what type of changes that will create but i imagine it will shake things up a bit!

I remember the day I FINALLY made it to the top 30, then FINALLY made it to top 20 and was in the blue, and then AMAZINGLY made it to the top 10. It was a great ride, lots of fun in DF1, but when Elite came out I switched over, so my progress was halted. However, it's nice to go into DF1 and see that I haven't moved from 135, and #4 in the squad.

In elite when I don't play much I lose a position or two, but then quickly get it back. I guess I could make my goal to get back to the top 10, but I don't really care about the rank. To me it's just a perk, the icing on the cake. I just like to play and have fun, whether I win or lose.

Well, I finally got my old acct up and running! Zup saved my planes for me, so I didn't have to fly like a noob.

Now I'll request he delete my new acct and I'm back to the original. No double-Dire!

Took a break after making moraf on DF to focus on my health..I would like to say I'm back and will be giving elite a shot.

What a Lot of memories here!
I remember going head to head with Savage Viking and beating him a couple of times in the squad rankings. if I had been as focused now, might have made blue before the game got over. Also missed becoming ACM 1st class by only a few points!
Ramadan is starting and will have less and less time this month, but, I made my fortune in DF1, can do it in DF Elite too. And I would rather do it as a gunner than anything else!
