hello again and welcome to a super late edition of our top 30! Restaurant cooking has become very demanding of my time and while it is fun to do, it gets tiring.

this week we see tons of movement on our list. almost too much movement to report on. the new changes in the game are basically a nightmare scenario for me as far as squad management is concerned. we have pilot strewn about over two apps that kinda work/kinda don't. it will take me some time to figure out what the next step will be.

i assumed gi-elite was our next frontier but now we are back to square one again and that stinks. i dislike wasted effort. but i will figure something out if you all can bear with me.

one happy note i'd like to draw attention to this week is our wing 3 leader Pinkstar30 hops up to the #3 spot in the squad! congrats to you on a job well done pink!

When I check this forum on my old mac, it always shows posts from two years ago at the top so I start reading and think"Wow...everyone seems to be being civil to each other... all is polite and friendly... now... not so much.

I really like DF Elite though I rarely see other GI's there. I hope things improve in the game and in our forum.

Elim May have problems with whatever, idk exactly what and why He left Gi to join us on Elite
in the future.

It's GhostWolf..aka Dire. Finally back and sad to say I lost my original account and points.
And as I'm starting over, I'm no longer a GI. But I'm happy to start to play again!

Yeah it's been quiet, but doesn't mean that we are dying. We have a great squad with great respect because of our values.

The game is in an awkward stage of growth. Many people just don't handle change well, and frankly, a lot of folks have an overinflated sense of entitlement. They seem to feel that a couple dollars a month, and a few hundred (or thousand) hours of playing time should buy them more influence than it actually does. It's also the time of year that the real world tends to demand more time from a lot of us.

For the most part, we Gunners have taken the quiet wait and see approach. Others have taken a more boisterous often insolent approach as they tighten their death grip on DF1, in a futile attempt to fend off the evil specter of progress. In the end, a few gunners might quietly fade away; a few others across the community will indignantly stomp off waving their $2 in their fist as they search for greener pastures.
Eventually, the Elite growth spurt will pass, summer schedules will ease up . . . Gunners will slowly return to the skies, and others will try to slip back quietly or offer some muffled apology for their previous ill-mannered transgressions.

i'd like to say thank you to all our positive people out there. i got a big smile from reading the thread today.

real life will always take the front seat, it's just unavoidable. at some point we must be the people who we are outside of the df world.

over the past months my actual life has been terribly difficult and i haven't been in the best mood. i really appreciate all the GI's who fly our banner high and represent for us! that fills me with pride to know that we all belong to a serious and heavy duty squadron. we are still here and i am still here. i think we have always had a level headed approach to how we do things and we will figure something out.

one thing i would love to have is a united squad chat. i think that would be the bee's knees!

whats the latest news on squad wars? i really had my heart set on kicking butt in a squad vs squad game!

In many ways GI is the best squad in the game. most famous squads only take high ranking players, while we take in newer guys and make them good. i should know, i am one such player.

that being said, we have no dearth of top guns, who are displacing established biggies in world rankings. we can take on any challenge. BRING IT!!
