just an update on the Smithsonian Photot Contest two days ago three more of my pictures got approved by the Smithsonian Photo Contest when I woke up this morning 1 more picture got approved I only have three more pictures left that need to get approved WISH ME LUCK

And we just scooped up a real promising new pilot named Noonday49. I cant wait to see what this fine young gun brings to the table.

Cypher, I think you brilliantly illustrated why our little squad chugs along and attracts folks and many alliances. We early members always tried to keep it fun---and it still works! That fun, loyalty and helping one another (even other squads) has been a formula that paid off big.

Far easier to find an even-tempered fun pilot and train them to be the best, than attempt to have a squad built on disrespect or anger. Many of those are gone or suffer in the long run.

We are here and having tremendous fun as a squadron, and even through busy times and hiccups, there are ALWAYS pack members having fun, slaughtering reds, and flying together to take the skies by storm. That's what it's all about around here.

Alex, great work with the photo contest! I know you'll do great. The last contests I've been in for a long time I just throw it together at the last minute (lets see... costume contest for Halloween, decided on a costume to make the day before...) but you've been working on this for months. You've got true dedication to this, and it sounds like from the work you've put in, you deserve winning this as much as anyone.


Crazed, haven't heard from you in a little bit, but good luck with your hockey team dude... I'm waiting to see a news story about an upstart kid who became the fastest recruit into the nhl, and his nickname is Crazed! _{not to mention that hockey puck... lol}

And Dera, I know you're pretty busy, but I miss your forum posts lol. Always fun and full of energy. I'm sure we'll hear from you soon.

Hey Wolf Pack, this is huge news right here. Dark Nights and Wolf Pack are now allies! When you see those folks, Dark X rain, Enoxx, Von Kilner, etc. Make sure you give them all the support our allies have come to expect from the most loyal squad in df.

They are also looking forward to participating in our rent a wolf program, so if anyone would like to fly with the Dark Night squad for a few days, pm me and we can get the ball rolling on that. Congratulations to my brother Dick for leveling up to 35! He has earned every point of it, too. It wasn't easy for him in the beginning. A lot of people reacted poorly to his chosen game name. However, he stuck with it, and proceeded to shoot and bomb his way up to the title of MORAF in DF1 with dignity and style. Now, I see him helping others survive those early times. As Viper says, BZ, Dick! Just glad you are a wolf. Owwwwwwwooooooohhhhhh!

That's my screenshot..heehee! I flew right at him and he shot me down. I respawned and grabbed a few shots of our DL climbing up the food chain and killing the reds! Tinypics took 10 years to upload, so I know Dick was waiting--but finally got it.
