Fight Night is getting a little dull with no goal so I was thinking we can use the thread to gather and decide on the mini game we wanted to try and maybe create some more.

We had pin the tail
Hide and seek


What else?

How about tag with a twist. One person is it . That person tries to shot the others down. Once a person is shot down he has to help the person who is it. This keeps going till only one is left. The last one not shot down is it for the next round.

i've had the joy (or is it misfortune) of flying against some of the [DD] pilots, dinospider is nasty!
anyway, i was just chatting with thulsa and joker about an idea we were kicking around in g.i. squad chat tonight.

our idea was to bring 4 or 5 of our picked pilots against 4 or 5 of another squad's picked pilots for a sparring match. this is very much influenced by the idea [LF] and {L} had for preseason fighting. gotta give credit where credit is due...

anyway, at gunnersinc..... we like to fly hard and keep it classy. we're a newer squad so it'd be great to go against a more established squad. a good honest round or two of combat. if we want to get nerdy, we can record k/d's to use as stats for future match ups.

i have grown to love the dogfight community, and perhaps we can use this as a way for newer pilots to meet older ones and build on this great thing everyone has made. thulsa told me there is a [DD] fight night on saturdays, maybe you guys would like to spend a future saturday with some g.i's?

talk it over and leave us a reply in our thread. we'd love to do battle with a fine squad like [DD].

since we are the squad requesting the match we can work to accomodate the schedule of the dragons. as far as i understand, you guys have a certain time and day you like to gather and fly. let us know when that is and G.I. will meet you in the skies.

at the moment we have 3 pilots that are interested for certain and generating more interest won't be difficult. we may face difficulty in securing a server so any suggestions on how we can accomplish that would be appreciated. i am looking at this as an experiment and that one way or another we will be able to match up.

Well we have 2 fight night times 5pm and 11pm Eastern so that is:

5pm 11pm EST 4pm 10pm CST 3pm 9pm MST 2pm 8pm PST

What we did with the loons is try to get as many from each squad on each side as possible and we selected a fighting player for each squad. At the end of each game we use the kills and deaths to get a KDR for the fighting players and best KDR wins. That way everyone doesn't need to be in the same game and all on one side. But we can make changes...I would love to see a full squad a side and whoever wins wins.

i was talking to zebraup about some server possibilities. i also would like to see a squad on each side and winner take all, however that may be difficult to do. i've still gotta work out 2 things on our squad's end. 1. which time we want to meet 2. whether we want to try for this weekend or next.
oh, and just to be clear, your fight night is saturday correct?

Hey guys just wanted to say hi and whip I was wondering if you would make me a new banner there's no rush of course just if you get bored sometime and want something to do

i agree that it may be a pain to get everyone on the same server at the same time but again, that's why i'd call it a "skirmish". things will probably get wacky but who knows? may be fun. i figure i will post for the gi's to meet you for your 11 pm time. which server would you like to try for? if everyone involved tries for the same server at around the same time, we may just get 3 or 4 pilots from each side into a battle. if other non involved players enter the game, we can ask them to leave, but it is a public game so not much we can do if they decide to stay.

i am thinking we can try for one of the less populated servers like bori, artois, or the lakes.

I couldn't ask for a better family then the devils dragons, I've missed a lot and gained a lot for this squadron,whip you've always been there for me, saying to me like a father we got new squadron members that are 15 and around 15 hahaha. Thanks you everybody!!

Well I would love to have games squad vs squad and we will try. I think no Zep missions since the goals are different per side.

Not so much the whining as the trying to discredit known good pilots...the audacity of some players...

dropped by to thank all the pilots from [DD] who came out to meet us for battle. we had a bit of a problem fielding a squad but the dd's were patient and friendly. inspired and impressed are two words to describe my experience. you guys are a great squad and good sports. thanks again for showing up, hopefully this won't be the only time we do this!

Thanks we had a great time too! Thanks to the Gunnerz Inc. pilots who joined in the fun you are a great bunch of pilots! I am also extremely proud and impressed at the quality of player we have here DD...it was like I didn't even really exist in the games...the dragons brought surgical death! Great work everyone!

Can someone explain to me how I was "spawn killing" when I was in a fight with one person over there base after I bombed it then 2 people accused me of "spawn killing" because I shot at people who were shorting at me!!
