Rules of the Confederate Air Corps:

1. Play against your opponents the way you would want them to play against you (i.e. the game version of the Golden Rule).

2. Never spawnkill.

3. Let new players take off, give them a warning before you engage (see rule 1...).

4. Give advice to lower ranked players.

5. Never cuss.

6. Follow instructions of the higher/highest rank squadron mate present.

7. Defend any teammates in trouble, except in the dogfight free for all.

8. Use private messaging to exchange ideas to improve the squadron members' gameplay--what works best for you, you noticed a particular player always makes a certain kind of move or mistake, etc.,

9. Never quit, never refuse a challenge, and never intentionally turn your 6 towards a higher ranked enemy to pursue a lower ranked enemy. Exception to "never quit" is, of course, for those who have devices where the app crashes spontaneously all the time...

10. Use southern words and expressions as much as possible...
e.g. "Ain't", "Y'all", "you're in a heap of trouble", " you're so dumb ya couldn't pour water out of a boot with instructions on the bottom", "if a bullfrog had wings, he wouldn't bump his ass when he jumped (unless he was a noob trying to land on a carrier)", "I'll knock you so hard you'll see tomorrow today", etc., etc.

11. Get there first with the most...

12. Racist statements while playing the game or posting on the forum will result in immediate expulsion from the squadron. This policy will be pursued with extreme prejudice, no pun intended.

13. Give no quarter to Yankees or their fellow-travelers.
The Confederate Air Corps squadron is open to any and all players, but especially for those who are from the South, are lovers of the South and Southern culture, which remains quite distinct in the US, despite 150 years of carpetbagging.
