Why do people insist that just because you use a "meme", a GIF or if someone is acting very obnoxious online -- that that is "trolling"?
Trolling by definition is a technique used by fisherman. You "troll" the bait along the floor layer of a lake/ocean to attract fish. This leads them on until they bite. You then real and claim your prize.
Trolling on the internet is the same. You lead someone on with intentional illogical fallacies until they "bite". When they "bite", you'll know as you'll observe an extreme amount of emotion/anger in their post.
Trolling isn't being obnoxious/throwing rocks at the fish. Nor is it showing pictures to the fish.
It's leading someone on until they react.
And that's the definition of trolling.
