I was having problems with the app on my pc so I decided to reinstall, but when I deleted the app, I couldn't download it again. Instead, it gave me the error code: 0x80070057. I am on Windows 8.1.

There is a way to reset everything.

Go to your command prompt and right click it. Select "run as administrator". When your command prompt comes up type "netsh" (without the quotations marks)

When the netsh comes up type "winsock reset" (again, no quotation marks).

Once your winsock has been successfully reset you must restart your computer. That's how I fix almost all of my Win 8.1 issues.

I am sure you are skeptical, and I don't blame you. Go to your windows page and just start typing how do I fix error code xxxxx (insert your error code here) and you should get multiple different pages with directions on how to fix stuff. What I explained was my way of fixing when it doesn't sign in to a windows service, but works with lots of other things also.

Im okay that you are wary, but if you research it youll be able to fix it im sure.

As a footnote, I was out of df for about 3.5 months way back when until I stumbled across the aforementioned fix.
