I just played a game with Montymor, MARSHALL OF THE AIR FORCE.

He shot at me, half way to my airfield. He bombed my three hangers. I was half way to his airfield. There was no radar of his airplane, anywhere. All of a sudden he came out of nowhere, and shot me down. How is that possible?

When I mentioned this to him, his answer was: “get over it”. That type of comment is I hope not typical of his rank.

“Came out of nowhere” doesn’t give much info. I’m guessing he was flying high and dived down on you, or he was lagging and you couldn’t see him

Actually, Montymor was behind me and bombed hangers on airfield, (showed on screen), but the radar image of him didn’t show him on screen. I was 1/2 way to his airfield, when he shot me down.

I don’t care about getting shot down, I was just concerned that his radar image never showed on the screen, and all of a sudden I got shot down. He couldn’t have gotten to me from my airfield, and he certainly couldn’t have gotten to me from his airfield, but he did.

In the old day, lag was always an issue. I guess this is lag. But we rely so much on the radar image to determine where someone is. And the fact that his radar image never showed up, puts all of us at a disadvantage.

This isn’t about Montymor, it’s about the program that runs the game.
