All wolves will report for flight physicals with in thirty days of their birthday. Pilots over 40 will do so annually all others will submit yearly questionnaires. Physicals will be given at age 20, and each five year intervals. Pilots under twenty,regardless of age will have the initial candidate physical, and once off probation will be required to have another full physical.

This is to take place immediately per navmed inst 6410.1d and secnav inst 6410.1f. Commanding Officers, Tycoms, and other such authorities will maintain operational necessity and report delinquent pilots to the office of the COMMANDER NAVAL MEDICAL COMMAND, AVIATION BRANCH, DEPT OF DOG FIGHT, for immediate medical qualifications.

NATOPS QUALIFICATIONS WILL BE CURRENT PRIOR TO MEDICAL SCREENING. DIRECT ALL INQUIRIES TO :

I'll have to comb my wild wolf fur, brush my tail and sharpen/whiten my wolf teeth. I will report a slight crack in one canine nail from a hard landing in a parachute, but I can still run and keep up with pack.

You will be ok. As long as the nail has not splintered in three pieces or involved the nail bed nerve bundle causing paw neuropathy and you are able to demonstrate balance , you're flight status is ok

Good thing we have a moderator who can help with that.

Also its clear Sir Ghostrider is not familiar with the role of a flight surgeon in an aviation squadron, although I think the flight surgeon was actually assigned to the Air Wing and not an individual squadron.

I thought the posters were funny even though they were a bit out of line for our squadron threads.

navy side, flight surgeons are attached to the wing two per wing. Marine side, they are attached to the Marine Aircraft Group and assigned only one squadron. When Iwas on USs America we had two Navy side, ours from my squadron (marine side) and another one from Cherry point. Anormal airwing has two, we had four.
