After much consideration, I've decided to leave the forums and resign my wings. School and life is busier than ever, and once I graduate, there'll be so much to do. Already, I've been finding less and less time available for DF and the NLR, so if I'm going to be focusing on my personal life, I might as well give it 100%.

It's been a real good time! Dogfight, no doubt, is the BEST online game/community that I've ever been a part of. This place is a home away from home, and everyone I've met here has turned out to be some really awesome people. I'll miss this place, and the friends I've met along the way. If I give personal farewells, this post would be much too long.

I'm leaving the New Lunar Republic under the command of it's First Officer, 420. Everything's been taken care of, she's to be considered the leader of the NLR from now on.

I'm leaving the unfinished DF Guide Website in the hands of Dixie, who's helped me from the start and has proved more than capable to finish the project. What he wishes to do with it is up to him.

It's been an amazing year, and I have all of you to thank. Goodbye!

You are one of those 'West Coasters' so playing times rarely matched up, but have enjoyed those games we've had and staying up with you on the forum. You are a wonderfully well-prepared young person, and I am sure you will succeed in all you put your mind to. Enjoy. Have a great life! Keep protecting the English language...it needs all the help it can get. And, check in every now and then just to see how DF is going. Perhaps the best compliment is, "You will be missed." As usual, you've got your priorities straight. Our loss, but real life does trump gaming and play.

I don't say this about just anyone, and I'll bet others here would agree: You clearly are one of those people who can achieve a lot, as evidenced by all you've accomplished here in a short time. Plus, it's not at all a trivial accomplishment that you are held is such high esteem by a bunch of DF players who are generally judgmental and outspoken! You are mature beyond your years, and sensible beyond most adults.

Keep shooting for lofty goals, and your sense of self-excellence will take you far. Please keep your login socked away somewhere, and I hope you won't be a complete stranger!

You've shown yourself to be a very classy young lady (crap... I'm starting to sound old). Class is a rare commodity in most teenagers these days. It was rare when I was one. I believe, with your class and obvious intelligence you will go very far. Good luck to you in your pursuits. Spending too much time on a thing like this is better left to us older farts while our kids watch Elmo for the 1624th time or when waiting at a dock somewhere with nothing else to do (my usual playing times). Go out and have a great time before you have to be too responsible to do so.

Luna doesn't need to reply, of course, so I won't talk directly to her, since she is not supposed to read this thread anymore.

I am quite sure this little woman is going to be a citizen of the world. I owe her some of my little English improvements. And I am amazed by her mature way to think and write. By her text, one can tell about her high-capable brain and good heart. Her parents, relatives and friends certainly are proud of her, I am sure.

Hope she come to say hello sometimes. Sputnik, stop crying!

Well Luna there is one thing you've done for us that I hope will remain even if you don't return that's the thread. Faces of dogfight. You put a face on this game and many here have enjoyed the ability to see some of the faces behind the names we must all give you a thank you for this gift you leave us with and we will all remember who gave it to this little group of flyers.
