*Cloudbuster* wrote: I'm waiting to see what actually happens with squadrons before I join one, but being an oldster myself, I can see the appeal of joining this squadron. Great idea and alot of very good pilots in this age group.

I'd like to echo Cloudbuster word-for-word. I like the thought of being unattached but if the squadrons turn into something positive then this is probably the one I would like to join the most. Us old guys need to stick together. As to my age, let me just say that I'm so old that one year I actually forgot how old I was. I thought I was a year older than I was and was so excited to realize after a few months that I was a year younger that it felt like a bonus!

As to my other age related qualifications...I attended the midnight opening of the first Star Wars movie (the first of the first which is really the fourth not the fourth which I guess is the first). I voted for Reagan and the best angel was Cheryl Ladd. :woohoo: As for my qualifications in Dogfight...I leave that to you.

...Cheryl Ladd was certainly the most talented, but Farrah was HOT!

I always thought it was a tie for hottest angel between Peggy Lipton on The Mod Squad (not to be confused with The MOM Squad) and Julie Newmar as Catwoman.

Calvin, I dont think they're stealing it's just no one had this idea before for the older players

Once your over 30 you just have alot more in common with other people over 30. And I get to be one of the young ones here lol.

Nothings official yet .

Hahahah, Calvin -- Enigma has nearly all the adult players Calvin (with all of the Co-Admins and myself being adults. Except you Calvin. :P).

Yeah, due to your forum activity and being more mature than most your age -- I entrusted you to a higher rank, heh.

Well, I'm not here to force anyone to stay in Enigma -- but it's a shame to let anyone go. I sincerely wish that one may reconsider the choice of leaving.

Some moves I was less then pleased with in the past month. I spoke to Calvin in game about it. But seriously I would let you know first before I made a move.

Ok, lesson learned. Do NOT post anything after having a few too many scotches....

I think I am ranked somewhere between 165 - 175. You can find me listed as [e]Big Tex.

MOM is hilarious, but I think I liked Old Fokkers better.

What's the count up to?

I also always liked the sound of the Argentine club Newell's Old Boys as it evoked an image of a group of seasoned and grizzled vets to mind. NOBs!

Yea Ktheo. The Images of the accident don't bother me anymore. I know I did everything right. I did my best... I have a couple of friends that are firemen and I was told that when the fire dept was toned out they were told there was a fireman on scene.... that was me and I'm no fireman.... I couldn't believe the crowd that gathered and wouldn't help... so I started barkin orders...I had to swear a few times but it got me a fire extinguisher quick. It was hard to deal with for awhile...They hit a rock wall head on at about 90 mph... the rest is up to imagination and images that will never leave my head....enough of this....but yes Ktheo I am fine thx for asking.. :)

Where are you going surfing at.....Just wondered if I might have been there...

I used to see people wind surf I believe it was at Bawdsey Bay (hope that name is correct). My wife and I (then girlfriend) used to go to Felixtowe and Bawdsey Bay Quite a bit. There were other places but I Can't remember the names (Mid to late 80's was awhile ago). :)
