A WW1 aerodrome that has survived almost untouched since the end of the war is being restored in the UK at Stow Maries, Essex. Last month, an evening/night photoshoot took place there with three replicas made by The Vintage Aviator Ltd in New Zealand, and the replica Bristol Scout built by David Bremner. Here are some pics

If you're posting from an apple device the image size has been problematic... It seems to keep getting smaller . You may do better if you can insert a link.

It was a privilege to be able to see these aircraft, especially running at night. The exhaust flames from the Snipe were quite something.
