and at least it doesnt cost points or cash to get your plane fixed up as it does in some of the other pc/console games....or cost a LOT of time and money as it does in real life...

I tried one of my signature swoop and stall carrier landings the other day in a ctc match. Im a bit out of practice and overshot my touchdown point, bounced and drug the tailskid along the deck before coming to rest near the island on the carrier. Thought I'd. Snapped my plane in two but it held together! Lol

I usually have good landings,and even got a few compliments from some high ranking player in their d8(I was in e3) but yesterday I just couldn't land to save my life on the runway,I just crashed over and over again,and today I'm fine. I hope the pilot is ok,it looked like he was.

Um, yes! I've had plenty of bad landings! Everytime I hop into a plane........bullets fly......I land in a heap! Usually only takes a few seconds........wash, rinse, repeat........lol!

Good landings? They're ones the pilot walks away from. Excellent landings? They're the ones that you can even use the plane again afterwards! --a wise proverb from one of my aviation maintenance profs...

I always face a problem at the time of landing if i in Alberto D 111 & D.V., It Hit the ground and not stable as usual as like other planes.

Yesterday its height of D.V. ,it was hit the Arial & land on Carrier wall in vertical position.!
Not believe ask other team members , those watch it...! i have failed to take photos.

I'm not sure if this counts as goo,but I landed backwards inside the carrier today. Backwards mind you. I had an easy time getting out though. I didn't see what happened but I think my wing hit the wall and violently turned me around. I have a pic but I can't post it here,I'm on mobile

Same happened to me once: I got stuck around a pole on the bridge, spinned around a couple of times and still landed on the carrier wheels down lol. Neder made a reverse landing tough lol

A seasoned pilot is training an over-eager new rookie co-pilot and lets him take the controls for the final approach.

Pilot: "It's all yours. Remember your training, sound off and bring it in nice and smooth."

Co pilot: "Roger that. All clear. No wind. Bringing it down to 500'"

Pilot: "Um, doesn't the runway look a little short to you?"

Co pilot: "Roger that. Flaps to 15deg, throttle down to 2500rpm, descending to 200'."

Pilot: "Umm... You should really reconsider..."

Co pilot: "Roger. Flaps to 25deg, throttle to 1500rpm, descending to 50'."

Pilot: "There's no way we're gonna make it! Abort!"

Co pilot: "Negative! I've got this! Flaps to 45deg! Throttle off! Nose up!"

Pilot: "You idiot! Were gonna die!"


Somehow the co-pilot pulls off a perfect stall-landing and the plane only rolls a few feet before coming to a complete stop at the far edge of the tarmac. They sit there in shock for a minute as they review their lives which have just flashed before their eyes.


Co pilot: "That is the shortest runway I've ever seen!"

Pilot; "Yea, but it sure is wide."

When I was learning how to land I looked up real landing procedures. I found this really helps:

To control your landings a little better, touch down on your leading wheel first. You have a little more control and it's easier than trying to touch down with both wheels at the same time.

Landing isn't the hard part it's deciding when to hit the brakes. You ever try to brake the front wheel on a bike while going 30+MPH downhill? Yeah, fun.

40 speed or lower, otherwise you risk flipping. Wiggle your wings on approach, if helps reduce speed

Aver es muy facil...entramos recto ya reduciendo cuando estamos cerca, bajamos palanca al maximo, el morro un poco levantado, cuando el avion ya perdio fuerza tomamos pista muy suavemente siempre recto procurando que no se gire.cuando ha tomado tierra,y esta casi parado se frena sino se hace asi ojo!! O lleva mas velicidad de lo correcto dará la vuelta.asi se suele aterrizar seguro.

Have a bad landing? Phhh all the time!!! When taking off in the phaltz i nose dive into the ground sometimes and when trying to land off runway in a neiuport!! I crash every time!!

it is true. that is how a pilot would do it. (as I am a student pilot myself). reducing throttle on approach and speed management are critical. also a little flare to reduce speed. finally avoid stalling on approach. I hope this helps those people who find a problem with landing. if you are not allined well then you better swollow your pride and go around. it is better for you to explain why you went around then other people to find that out. ( because you didn't). it is a pilot's saying. safe landings

Oh, thank god..I thought it was just me that has landed in every possible and ridiculous way!

Other night I landed with propeller down and tail up in air. I should have taken screen shot.

Everytime i take flight, and i mean EVERYDAY at least once i do that on the runway or on a carrier.... nose down, don't crash, but my plane is a rotating clock!
