I have experienced the same problem. It doesn't always go away with a crash. Three times yesterday I actually had to quit to get it back correctly.

You dont have to crash, you can be shot. Youre better off being shot down in my oppinion. If you die a few times, you can get it back completely most of the time. :)

Thanks Calvin, It is a pain taking off and flying to enemy with device over my head just to get shot down. Is there a point advantage to doing that?

It does seem to recal to a "higher"neutral. Whenever I get killed in a tank, I immediately put the phone down flat, way past my normal neutral, and then when I spawn as a plane, the calibration is fine. Not sure why it does that, but this is my ingrained practice and I don't have problems anymore.

Thanks, manfred, I'll try that.

And yeah, there is a point advantage to flying and being shot instead of crashing. You could get some kills, and take a chute when you die, giving you more, and giving you an oppertunity for more points. :)
