Hello there,

At first, sorry for my bad English.
I am a complete noob with dogfight games, and I am very excited with this game in particular - I installed it on my Android device just two days ago and I am enjoying it a lot - although I have no skills yet to dare to fight in multiplayer mode.
By the way, as I suggested in this post, it would be very nice if we had an option to improve our skills by playing this great game via local wi-fi against at least one to four friends (Skies of Glory and Rise of Glory both have this feature... ;-)
But while local wi-fi is not an option, I am thinking that this forum could have a "flight session" for noobs like me, with dedicated servers (or maybe multiplayer sessions) for noobs with one or two experienced pilots to teach us the basics in such a way that we (noobs) should not be killed so easily like in those practice oddline missions. This kind of "work" could be done by volunteers, in regular scheduled "classes", or something like that.
Hope you can understand what I wrote, my English is poor and getting rusted...
Anyone available to act like teachers?
(By the way, when I said that I am a noob, I MEAN IT! In two hours of offline gameplay, I didn't even accomplished to land my plane in the second practice misson yet!!! I know: what a shame... But the fact is that I'm a 42 years old man, and I have a 9-months-old-lovely-little-daughter named Laura, and I can not spend more than one hour per day with this game that will become my main hobbye from now on).
Hope someone can be our "noobs-godfather"...

I took the RED PILL!

I can give you some help with whatever you need. Tell me what kind of stuff you need. Do you want just basic stuff, how to aim in a parachute, how to land, etc? Or do you want to learn advanced tactics?

Well, I just played my first game in two weeks, blasted Vela and some Major General named thunder_bd, then Dawsonn joined, and... Didn't let me shoot him. He forced a turn, and my connection dropped before there was an end. We both had one bullet in us.

Yea how can a plane be that fast. Him and sky amaze me. And if u want to get better than go in multiplayer. Aingle player is boring. And u will get good that way only. So just play with other and chat with them and try. Qhen someone chases u try to chase them dont waddle away. If u die get back up and keep going.

Oh, yeah, don't play single player. Play multiplayer, it's way more fun. You play against real people. Don't get discouraged when you get killed. You'll get better.

Again, beware of my horrible English.
And thank you, CalvinIsAwesome, for your kindness. But after posting the OP, I realized that the time I have to spend day-by-day to play this game is very tiny, and also I can't manage it (my time) properly, so I will not be able to schedule my online games to make this "lessons" productive. Imagine this: I schedule with you to play one hour today, around 10 PM; but what if, at 10:05 PM, my wife calls me to help her to clean up my 9 months little daughter? I will not be able to turn my phone off!!! hahahahahahaha. So, I don't want to spoil my flight teacher's schedule too - and I think that my only option will be to stick to learn slowly, in a lone (an looong) way...
So, I thank you very much, CalviIsAwesome, for your attention, but I will humbly pass for now.
But this is by myself only! Maybe (and certainly) the "flight school" idea can be good to other noobs, and I hope you spread this idea around, to other Dogfight aces, and create a fixed forum session for scheduling tutorial batles for other beginners. What do you think?
Thumb up for you!

Want to get better? Get shot down by the best....

I wanted to learn how to turn so evry time I saw Skydavis or Rickenfaker I would challenge them

and of course get shot down...but you learn somthing new with every fight.......

and do you know how many times Strachan, Watup and Bomer shot me down head on before I finally

started to get it? lol

Get in a game with Bomer he will help you alot....watup was very helpful too.....also i was

in a game with Strachan one night going head on time after time after time with him and

everytime he shot me down lol he would tell me what I did wrong or what to try next time ...It

finally started to click ( I am a slow learner lolz )

If i ever see me in game just ask and i will give you as much help as i can. I will give you a few tips hear.

For landing throttle to half throttle and get low to the ground then kill the engine and just glide close to the ground were you will eventually stall and land.

For turn fights you need to have your sensitivity on 100% and your plane tilt tilted slightly down on your device so you get more turn when you tip the thing up vertical. Do not get discouraged if you lose turning fights because you are in the beginners plane and wining turning fights is difficult in those against more advanced faster planes. Also droping your bomb in multiplayer makes you go faster and makes you more agile.

For head on cary your bomb because it make your plane less wobbly and jumpy. You can get a better shot if you are stable. The rest of head on stuff do not listen to me because i am a fail at it.

For bombing you can sneak around or you can risk the fire fight and go straight at there base from your base. If you do this be sure you can kill them all in a head on and also fly with a buddy. Flying with a friend is very help full in a head on. It doubles your chance of success and bombing. gives your enemy 2 targets to worry about instead of one. You can then move around and get a better view of them and a better shooting spot while the enemy is distracted with your friend.

Good luck and see you in the skys.

Sky, you're not bad at head on! You're pretty damn good, last I checked.
