I don't know if this can be fixed or not, but whenever I accidentally press the power button on my phone during a game, it doesn't just turn my screen off, but it causes dogfight to close and I have to reopen it and sign into an online game again. I was wondering if it is possible to keep dogfight running in the background when the phone gets turned off. This seems to happen to me every couple of games.

I think this might be intentional. If you think about it, I'll bet a lot of people play a few games on their phone, then just turn the screen off when they have to go. If they were left in the game, that spot would be filled by a ghost plane, and the server would be occupied once the game ended.

It is annoying, but it shouldn't be changed completely. Maybe a thirty second limit would be good, though. It'd give time to get the game back.

30 seconds would be great. I do agree that it need to close automatically, not just to keep the server clean, but also because Dogfight uses too much power to have it running unattended.

I use either 4G HSPA+ with a max download rate of 21MBPS (usually between 3 and 7 MBPS I would say) or WiFi. The WiFi at my house however tends to drop completely and pick up again every few minutes so I usually play on 4G H+. My 4G is also faster than my WiFi, and I find if my connection lags I am unable to get any kills, so I prefer the faster connection. You raise a good point though, that would be where much of the power is going. Sometimes the power drains faster than my charger can supply it.

Another point that needs attention is if the connection is lost, can we have maybe 30 seconds for it pick up again?

But if the game is still running then u might crash or get killed and all that stuff. So thats still a problem.

Thanks Calvin, this is a common feature in many phones.

What is? The game staying connected for a short time, or the game being disconnected? A lot of people have asked me if there's any way to make it so you don't lose the connection, that seems to be a common annoyance.

Hi Calvin, both things depend entirely of the device you are using.
But it cannot be changed. Maybe in the future devices would support this kind of feature.

I don't play much... maybe I'll have to schedule more time for Dogfight ... I'm addicted to the Orcs game lately
