It was horrible Mr. Gannet; my prayers go to all the innocent victims and their families. That is how hate looks like when acted upon. Sad to see how many lives were cut down so cruel and senseless. That poor girl lying on the floor asking for help to be shoot without mercy and then run over. Hate is Evil and it rotten the soul. The Innocent one are always the one that have to endure the cruelty and ignorance of those who choose to kill for hate. We must teach our children at home to love one and other. So many years and we have not learned how-to live-in peace and to care for each other. May the Lord guide us all and give comfort to the families of all the innocent souls that were lost yesterday in your country.

Yes, thanks Acegirl and fellow Dogfighters, I appreciate your sympathy.
It's been a week of strong and complex emotions for us here.
Emotions made even more complicated by the fact that the loser who perpetrated this horror was not one of us, he came from another country specifically to do this. It has felt like he didn't just attack the mosques, he attacked our country.
His actions are so not what New Zealand is about.
In a strange way, it has had the reverse effect to what he intended, unified the country in empathy and support for those who have lost love ones.
