There is one thing you can do to get airborne a little faster: hit the brakes and throttle up. In perhaps four seconds, or when you see the first hint of vibration, let go of the brake and you will be up in half the time it would normally take you. If you wait too long before you release the brakes you will tip forward and crash into the runway.

I wouldn't say that it doesn't take skill, even if it is certainly easier to shoot a plane while it is taking off.

There is no way for an airborne enemy to be ready to shoot as you appear. He must circle and try to be in the right position just at the right time.

In team games you can count on help from your team mates to prevent you from being repeatedly spawnkilled, but in the "dogfight" mode, everybody is your enemy, and will shoot at you as you take off.

Even so, they cannot just hang around and wait, or they become easy targets themselves.

I think you might have a case of bad luck of entering games where things are hot at the base or airport. Those can be super frustrating when you're joining and there is a crowd waiting. Take off like Veidar suggested and drop your bomb immediately to gain speed. It is rare, but possible, that there is a sniper on the carrier deck taking shots at you. Also, your own teammates respawnin themselves can be crashing into you.

It isn't a game glitch. I totally agree it can just be players inflating their scores with easy kills. It is tactical - not gratuitious killing - if you have approaching bombers and you are pinning down the enemy to get your bombers through.

Thats my fav part whwn there Re 2 aces circling aroung my base. Fun killing them or getting killed by them.

Drop ur bomb once ur at speed that u can pull up sharply. Idk ow high the blast reaches tho. If u get to 100' before releasing u should be fine.

Or just stay on the ground until the enemy has the choice to take a leak or pop.

Until your phone runs out of battery. You are susceptible to bombs, though not a threat in the Zep scenario.

There is no more immunity. Even noobs.

Wrong, i saw immune guys yesterday. Bombs usually work on them tho. Can anyone else here bomb planes?

I've done it by accident two or three times, but on purpose? In air? Never!!

I have done it once. When I was a noob I was going up high strait and a plane was following me close, hit bomb button boom. I have tried other times but cant. Noob luck.

Ive been working on doing it in combat, youve got some real risk to blowing urself up tho. Its hard. First time i accidntlay did it agaist sky.

The way I avoid the situation is to live with it first. Then once they are gone, stop them from getting to my spawn. My method is kind of stupid, but it works!
