I'm not saying that you need to do this now or even ever but while I was playing I thought it would be cool if it would turn night time idk if that wouldn't work well because it would be to hard to see the other planes but I just thought it would be kinda cool

That would be fun, especially if we shot tracers that could be seen from anywhere. Lights on the planes green and red labeling port and starboard. Maybe like one day a month throw this random map in the mix for a double le XP day???? LOL

I like the idea, but idk if planes had lights back then, or if tracers existed.

Not many "dogfights" happened at night due to low visibility. However there were minor skirmishes between small scout-like aircraft.

Tracers however have existed for a long time. They were first made to be incendiary rounds to light soldier's on fire when hit. But people found it enabled them to see where exactly their bullets were going and they further configured the powder to stay ignited until impact.

Personally -- I find tracers VERY VERY fun to shoot in real life. A close friend of mine has an automatic (converted and yes he has a license) Ruger 10/22. Shooting tracers out of it was VERY fun. Here's basically what it looks like:

(No this isn't my friend to everyone who seems to take every post on the forum literal. :P)
