I found an app that lets you record what shows on your screen for making that montage video to show off your skills. Its like a cap-card for you console users. You open it and run it and it records everything that will be saved as a video file on your phone to be uploaded on your computer or edited on the phone if you have a video editing application. Just search screencast in the market. Theres a free version but it only records like 30 seconds. The paid version is like 3 bucks. The app also requires root access.

Yes, but I do believe the same developer makes it for apple too but not positive.

Atleast you can do it to cool music lol :) My phone isn't rooted yet since i just got the Gingerbread update a month ago but when a root is available ive got a mean plan for this phone. Its gonna get Overclocked in every aspect so it runs faster and uses 100% less battery. My first montage will definately be to the top gun theme song...just saying, and im calling dibs on that so no one do it first lol.

What model are you running?

Careful, my friend Colt and myself were once overclocking his phone. We were playing a simple 3D game -- and out of nowhere the processor REALLY started getting hot. Ended up melting a large hole in the silicon chip inside.

So be sure to know the GhZ limitations. :P

I have the LG Thrill. Its a 3d phone. It ran froyo that's been out since 2010 and finally got updated to gingerbread a month ago. The update included video editing software and a conversion apparently to convert anygame to stereoscopic 3d. Dogfight is great in 3d but it kills the battery. And Im fairly savvy when it Comes to the electronic stuff I took four years of it in school.

Yeah, I was fixing a friend of mine's Android phone not long ago. Once it was done -- I wanted to see Dogfight on it. ;)

The 3D thing is cool -- but the depth perception messes with your mind. I found myself shooting either too high or too low at long ranges. :P

Thats cool! I thought you had to develop an app specially for it to display in 3D! I wanna try that on one of my friend's phones now! :P

Well, some apps are indeed specifically made and the 3D effects look great. Dogfight is pretty good. ;)

I never understood how it worked with out glasses so ill explain it. Stereoscopic 3d is merely the effect of having two identical. Images or videos being shown at the same time just offset slightly from each other to give depth. The official 3d games have a depth setting so you can tweek it to suit you. The converter lets you do this too so you can tweek dogfight so it doesn't make your aim off. I play it like this a lot when I'm home so I can have it charging

Yeah, I remember precisely reading multiple articles on "3D screens" and how they work when Nintendo came out with the 3DS. It's pretty cool technology. Can't wait to see how far it can be taken!

When i was down in florida with my school, I saw a few shows at the disney parks that were in 3D, and considering that disney has like the BEST everything else, the 3D SUCKS. it is AWFUL. The whole thing is blurry, you can see both the pictures, even with the glasses on, and it made my eyes hurt. If you go to disney, see Captain EO, and nothing else in 3D. Awful.

LOL.

But that's a totally different 3D effect you're talking about.

Besides, Universal Studios > Disney World

All day, errday. ;)

Went to universal too. Theres multiple parks in disney world, the original is the magic kingdom, which is esentially a larger disney land. Theres EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, and Disney Hollywood Studios, formerly known as MGM studios. Disney and MGM parted ways a few years ago when disney stopped producing movies in florida. We went to all of the above except typhoon lagoon, and also went to seaworld. Magic kingdom and animal kingdom are the only ones with rides that dont go upsode down, but it was fin riding space mountain with the lights on. They used to scedual times during the day when theyd do it with them on, but it scared too many small children. ;) you come like a foot away from the support beams. At seaworld on manta, one of my firends foot slipped out of the foot-holder-thingy, and it actually HIT one of the posts after a loop. Another one spit at the top of a loop, and got hit at the bottom. Well, I'll save the rest of my stories for another time.

I wonder if i can claim that disney hired me to advertise here, didnt pay me, and sue them? ;) :P

The modern 3D films that I've seen have been really good! But then that's true stereoscopic vision, and with much better glasses than the old fashioned fun-fair thing.

What you get when you run non-3D games on a 3D phone, however, is just simulated 3D, - like getatthisdude pointed out. It makes things seem to float over and under the screen, bur not necessarily in a natural way :-)

Yeah, the ones in regular theaters are, but NOT DISNEY'S! Ive seen lots of 3D movies, but these ones literally caused me pain. Too bad, they were the only bad part about disney stuff down there. :)
