Its not one in particular but i have played a few games lately that seamed to have very low ranked people in it that out flew and shot pilots that should of been hard to touch for them lol just wondering if anyone else might of noticed this? Maybe some pilots flying under different accounts lol  B)

Being an aspirant is a nice invisibility trick. Many players will let them alone because they are no challenge.

Obviously there are some low-rank pilots around who really are experienced players, wolves in sheep's clothing as it were, but I haven't seen many of them. Not among the aspirants, that is.

Among the leutenants, however, I've met a few very aggressive wolves. Should we start making a list?

Just think of it like handling a gun. Always assume it is loaded or that the lower rank may be highly skilled. Don't assume a pilot can't be deadly because he is a lower rank. Just sayin.

I think it has a positive effect. Keeps people on their toes with all planes like you should. Now the immune think is just a pain.

Heh, it was most likely an Admin, Mod or a higher ranked player.

As Zuperman once said, when you're an Admin, Mod or anyone in the top 10 -- people tend to ONLY target you. It's pretty annoying. I once was flying behind 2 other pilots as we took on the other team (who were all close together). Despite there being much bigger and better targets (my team mates) in front, ALL of them chose only to fire upon me during the whole game, hahahah. I was a sport about it and finished the game. But after that, I just keep my name changed for the most part.

Besides, it REALLY helps me catch people in game who abuse the chat system, team kill, harass, etc.

We're always watching. ;)

Oh and trust me -- you'll know if you're fighting Zuperman, hahahah. I still remember playing once when this aspirant WOULD NOT stop killing my entire team. Then the next day on the forum, Zuperman mentioned how he enjoyed killing me hahahah!

However, I don't encourage you guys making alternate accounts. I don't have another account, I just change my name and temporarily leave Enigma (so it doesn't give me away).

of coarse lets not forget there are some people out there who can pick up games like this and are just natural at it but all in all i find it fun i love the challenge it presents and it can be right funny to see higher ranked players blasted out the sky by them lol :silly:

I do have one other account, but I only use it occasionally. \\\/// Yeah, that's me. B) A LOT harder. Aces have a nice target to snipe me! :P :P

As for the mods with alternate accounts, I've learned that Z doesn't like it when you call him out. Twice I've asked an aspirant if he was Z (After he killed me more than a regular ace would), and both times he quit. Lol, I've stopped doing it now.

Slenderman, do you talk when you're incognito? Seems like anyone who knows you would recognize you pretty easily. :) :P

I'm quite new to this game, but I fly in real life and have played numerous combat flight sims.

I can only imagine the faces of some of the experienced guys here when I first logged in yesterday ay and started shooting people out of the sky ^_^

There was an aspirant today with the three letter name ?!e, who was absolutely unshootable.

He was a quiet and non-agressive fellow who didn't answer when I addressed him.

Then he lined himself up to bomb our hangars.

I gave him a few bursts, and expected something to happen. but no!

Then I placed myself on his tail at really close quarters, throttled down, followed him for some time and shot 6-7 nicely centered bursts right into his fuselage. Nothing! He didn't even smoke.

He then blew up two hangars and started circling slowly around the airport and I shot at him several times, - to no effect, except from a "you've hit ?!e" message on the screen.

There was no other visible signal that anything had happened, and I didn't see him being shot down by anyone else either. There was no indication of lag or bad connection.

I wonder who that could have been.

Was it just little aspirant ?!e who for some mysterious reason had a bit of luck, or was it someone else who was in fact able to control the workings of the game?

Good point.

Some low-rank players shoot you down more easily than you would like to admit.

You're probably right, though it looked perfectly normal, - and he didn't go down tens of seconds later as I've seen several times when there is an obvious lag at work.

I was probably just shooting in thin air while he was happily flying around somewhere else. :-)
