And the reason why I call myself THEGOLDENEAGLE or 111TH|GOLDENEAGLE is because this plane I called the Su-47 Berkut and Berkut is Russian for Golden Eagle

And this is the design for it

Let's not turn AG's thread into yet another negative contribution to the Forum.

It's been enjoyable to see all the different photos and video's posted here.

While the "cartoon" images are neat, they aren't real. Let's see some more real historical and current contributions. Take a minute and turn this back to where AG was headed with it.

Skip Stewart. THE most insane aerobatic Pilot ever! Got the opportunity to meet Mr. Stewart in 2007 at The Dayton Airshow where he was flying with the Late, Legendary Jim Leroy in a show they called Code Name: Mary Lamb.
Sadly the next day Leroy failed to recover from a low level loop and crashed. Sunday, Stewart still took to the air in tribute to the loss of his Partner. Enjoy!

On December 7, 1941, some 360 Japanese warplanes attacked the home base of the U.S. Pacific fleet located at Pearl Harbor on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. The following day Congress declared war against Japan with only one dissenting vote.

Japan had apparently been plotting a surprise assault on the Hawaiian islands while pretending to negotiate with the United States over trade agreements and Japanese expansion into Indochina. With assurances from Premier Hideki Tojo that the fight was of no concern to the United States, six aircraft carriers supported by submarines and battleships secretly embarked for Honolulu. Within two hours of the unremitting attack, the Japanese planes hit, sunk or severely damaged eight U.S. battleships, including the Arizona and 14 smaller ships, destroyed 200 aircraft and killed over 2,000 seamen. Tokyo's forces escaped virtually unscathed.

Warren Gamaliel Harding (November 2, 1865 – August 2, 1923) was the 29th President of the United States, serving from March 4, 1921 until his death. Although Harding died one of the most popular presidents in history, the subsequent exposure of scandals that took place under him, such as Teapot Dome, eroded his popular regard, as did revelations of an affair by Nan Britton, one of his mistresses. In historical rankings of the U.S. presidents, Harding is often rated among the worst.

In Honor of Internationals Women’s Day

Bessie Coleman

In 1922, aviator Bessie Coleman became the first African American woman to stage a public flight
in America. She was the first black woman to earn a pilot's license. Because flying schools in the United States denied her entry, she taught herself French and moved to France, earning her license from France's well-known Caudron Brother's School of Aviation in just seven months.

She learned to fly in a Nieuport Type 82 biplane, with "a steering system that consisted of a vertical stick the thickness of a baseball bat in front of the pilot and a rudder bar under the pilot's feet." On June 15, 1921, Coleman became the first woman of African American and Native American descent to earn an aviation pilot's license, and the first person of African American and Native American descent to earn an international aviation license from the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale.

Coleman specialized in stunt flying and parachuting, earning a living barnstorming and performing aerial tricks.
On April 30, 1926, Coleman was in Jacksonville, Florida. She had recently purchased a Curtiss JN-4 (Jenny) in Dallas. Her mechanic and publicity agent, 24-year-old William D. Wills, flew the plane from Dallas in preparation for an airshow but had to make three forced landings along the way due to the plane's being so poorly maintained and worn out. Upon learning this, Coleman's friends and family did not consider the aircraft safe and implored her not to fly it. On take-off, Wills was flying the plane with Coleman in the other seat. She had not put on her seatbelt because she was planning a parachute jump for the next day and wanted to look over the cockpit sill to examine the terrain. About ten minutes into the flight, the plane unexpectedly went into a dive, then spun around. Coleman was thrown from the plane at 2,000 ft (610 m) and died instantly when she hit the ground. William Wills was unable to regain control of the plane and it plummeted to the ground. Wills died upon impact and the plane burst into flames. Although the wreckage of the plane was badly burned, it was later discovered that a wrench used to service the engine had slid into the gearbox and jammed it. Bessie was 34 years old

Coleman remains a pioneer of women in the field of aviation.
