Little Anthony's Heart


Hello World, and DF Community we are trying to unite to help out a little’s boy Heart. This little angel is call Anthony and a few weeks back his parents received a devastating blow. Their 1 year old boy, Anthony Radu was given a diagnosis from doctors. He has a heart condition called ostium secundum ASD. It’s when a wall between 2 chambers of the heart isn't fully developed. Little Anthony has no options. Either Anthony gets surgery or the inevitable happens in due time. He will not get to live a long meaningful life. He will not get to play sports when he gets older. He most likely won't ever get to partake in any strenuous activity. Otherwise he will not be able to be a child.

Razvan, Anthony's father is not proud to ask for help. He has started to pawn off personal belongings. They live in Romania where currency is much less than the U.S. dollar. Razvan works security at a Romanian airport with a narcotics canine. He earns the equivalent of $400USD/Month. The surgery will cost $5,000. That is a staggering amount when you consider daily living expenses. There has also been major financial setbacks due to this turn of events. Anthony's recovery will also take a financial toll on Razvan's family. However, every penny after the initial $5,000 will help with Little Anthony's recovery and help give back what they have lost due to their situation. Razvan is doing everything on his end to raise money for his son’s cause. We are trying to help this family in dire need.

There is a true sense of urgency. We need to raise $10,000USD for this family. Any donation will help. It doesn't matter if it is only $1. Every little bit helps. I hoping to get between $1-$5 per donation. However, anything more than what we are asking would also be accepted and greatly appreciated. Hello Lafayette,

This evening a red LE player commented in a BTC game that members on my team were not carrying bombs. I immediately asked that all please carry. The member accused me of not carrying after I had bombed the red carrier twice.

Perhaps it was a simple mistake, but I would like to clarify that Wolf Pack always carries.

Yes Dire, many pilots don't realize that with the last update if you're carrying 1 bomb you can fly virtually as maneuverable and fast as if you had NO bombs! 2 bombs still slows you down appreciably.. but there's no law that says you have to carry both (or even carry at all for that matter)
I have been accused for years quite often of being a dropper because of my flying style.. and I replied every time that if I make it to their hangars/carrier they'd see... just don't let what anyone says bother you.. after all, YOU know the truth, and that's all that matters!

1) I believe that if Zebra kicked you from the squad it had nothing to do with Jacob, take it up with Zebra not Jacob.

2) He and everyone else has every right to come here, first of all it's an open forum, and second he was give some advice.

Fallen you are not helping things.. and as a Global Moderator for the forum Jacob has every right to come and go as wants.. and I doubt very much that he deleted our 1st post...

And Fallen, as the leader of this little Escadrille I handle any and all problems regarding Lafayette and its pilots, which I believe I do a good job of and I don't appreciate "help" that just makes it harder for me.. okay? I don't play as often as I use to, only once or twice a week, but I'm still playing Dogfight. I'm at 232 now and the game is still fun but the individual games are getting loooooong. I have risen to the level of my incompetency and my skills are static. Yep, I still get my butt handed to me often! How is Elite going for everyone? All the bugs worked out? Just checking in to say "Howdy!"

I almost snorted my coffee all over the screen of my tablet when I read your:"Are all the bugs worked out?" LOL! No, they're not, but the game is still fun to play even with my malfunctioning machine guns (someone from another squadron sneaks into my hangar and pours maple syrup into them every so often..) but even so, still fun!

Btw Don, none of the points your getting in DF1 are actually helping your ranking, or so I've heard..

ZebraUp, You are probably right about the change in ranking, although the ranking does change (I have gone from 235 to 232 in the past few weeks) it won't count if I go to Elite. I only play once in a while and figure it's still free and there are enough people still playing to keep it interesting. No delusions of grandeur on my part. Just limping along seeing how much damage I can do and how may times I get shot down.

ok sorry I have been racing put all my efforts in to it this summer I will try to post some pics of the new boat also an update the #5 SHOWTIME took home a 3rd place finish in the US Nationals And that gets the team an invite to World finals in New Zealand or Australia in the months to come

I think I finally got a handle on this now.. with both a new device (Kindle tilt) as well as a new game (Elite) it took me a bit but I think I got my mojo back..

And to all of those that said I was only good because of arrow keys and Windows.. pucker up! Lol!
