"Your"? I belong to no one! About the picture: Do you see those tiny little medal-things on both collars? Those are insignias for rank. I think those are Major insignias, on the collars. I'm not sure. SB467, what branch are you in? Marine Corps? I can pretty much spot and name all Enlisted ranks, but I'm not too good at Officer ranks. I guess I'd better study my Bluejacket's Manual, huh? I can also see what looks to be some kind of aviation badge near the bottom-right area of the picture. It's too blurry to see, so I'm not sure what it is exactly for. It might even be the Eagle-Globe-Anchor badge worn by the Marine Corps. I can't really tell. |

Based on your questions and a few others, here's a quick summary:
My service is Marine Corps (Semper Fi). Rank is LtCol. Branch is aviation (gold wings). I am a career AH-1W Cobra pilot. Thank you for your kind words... Thanks also to YOUR father for his service! Hope he's well. Take care and thanks for bringing the Dogfight community closer together. Respectfully, SB
