Now, why the name "The Foreign Legion"? Aside from being partly-inspired by the real-life Foreign Legion of France, we are named as such because we are mostly composed of members whose various nationalities come from the Asian side of the world.

Like the real life Foreign Legion, we are not restricting our membership to nationality or ethnicity. We are here to fly, make friends and also appreciate the game of Dogfight.

Squadron rules are as follows:

1) No teamkilling
2) No spawnkilling in a tank; you do not ride a tank all the way to an enemy airfield to shoot planes at close range.
3) If you must spawnkill, do so in the interest of completing a mission and in a plane - not to spite other players, ruin a game or during a dogfight match.
4) Be a sport; the real-life WW1 aces still managed to be sports in spite of the fact that they're putting their lives on the line; who are we to act differently?
5) No usage of inappropriate language regardless if its in-flight, forums or chat.
6) Be a team player; know how to get a long with people
7) No bombing of one's own carrier or hangars in the interest of fishing or spoiling a good game.

*NOTE: Since we are an international squadron (literally) in a game where players come from all over the world, we use English as our language as much as possible as a courtesy to both fellow Legionnaires and other Dogfight players.

** If a member of The Foreign Legion breaks or is accused of breaking this rule, the Leaders of the Squadron will investigate and analyze the alleged accusations and determine internally the admonition if there is any merit to the incident at hand. We believe in all our Legionnaires, and we stand united; if we see inappropriate behavior, it will be address internally in an adequate and fair manner.  **(TFL ACE GIRL) 2023.

Thanks for dropping by Raptor and great flying with you earlier. Speaking for myself, I wasn't aware about Taps' status or situation. Thank you for bringing us up to speed on her as well.

For those who are still wondering about Triple Taps' status, we are happy to inform that he is already in good condition and is also already taking part in the furball frenzy fun of Dogfight as of this moment.

I am a traditionalist and I cannot hear the Foreign Legion without thinking of the French Foreign Legion. Throw a fleur de lis on there for us old traditionalist. See you in the skies!

Their fluer de lis is a cross between the standard (Boy Scouts and New Orleans Saints) and an exploding grenade. Very cool if you work it in!
