Well I finally flew my new SE5a today for its first few missions! NICE! It definitely handles differently from the Albatros D.V. & my beloved Spad... it's 'smoother' is my first impression. I don't have it fully upgraded yet but good enough to fly it.
I will be adding my impressions of it to the 'Choosing a new plane & plane characteristics' thread in a few days when my impressions of it are more varied.. but for now I like it! I can't wait to save up the coins to have it fully upgraded!!!

Here are the results of its first 2 dogfights.. 1 death was being spawnkilled and the other was a mid-air collision..

I'm about half way to my Albatros DV. Wish I could keep playing

1. According to zuperman you need to make sure your forum name & game name are the same, and keep them EXACTLY the same for the next week or so because of the integration of forum & game accounts! (this also includes your squadron tag i.e. {£} or =£= or whatever you are using in front of your game & forum name) Remember they MUST MATCH EXACTLY!

2. For those of you with photobucket or tinypic or some other image hosting service you should make a copy of the banner I made for you and host it on your own image account as mine is nearing its maximum monthly allotment of bandwidth. If I exceed it, then ALL pictures & screenshots & banners I have on the forum will be replaced with the dreaded "Look Who Is Popular - Bandwidth Exceeded" white box in place of whatever was there before. I am asking you to do this so YOUR banner doesn't disappear on you.
Once you have copied the banner into your hosting service account just replace the [*IMG] link in your signature that I gave you with the one provided by your hosting service. If you have any problems or questions feel free to PM me with them.. AND please let me know once you have copied/replaced your banner.

Hi guys, and gals.
I'm sorry for barging in on your thread, but I just want to give you a heads up.
I have seen that your banners (good looking ones) are slightly a bit to wide.
It can make some of the text I your post a bit hard to read.
If you cut them down to about 700 pixels wide that wont happen.

i just wanted to stop by and say thanks to ziza and templar for helping reaper 6 and myself win an epic come from behind bomb the airfield match. reaper 6 and i were defending for ages until a couple {L}'s showed up and helped us turn things around. thanks again, you two are great pilots.

Thank you Zebraup for letting me be part of Lafayette Escadrille I look forward to play and represent a strong, fun, fair respectable team, thanks Ziza, trey, Rt01,fiery tiger, templar and all who welcome me.

Wow we're 22 pilots STRONG now.. & despite turning down over 40 requests so far we are still growing quicker than I thought we would! Just remember everyone, that once we hit a total of 38 pilots we are done and no more additional pilots will be recruited or accepted. The original Lafayette Escadrille had 38 pilots & were known back then in the headlines as the Valiant 38 so from that point on we will not be recruiting any more pilots following us hitting that number.

However.. as the 5 French officers of the original Lafayette Escadrille were all pilots and although they were not counted as part of the 38 they accounted for a handful of the squadron's kills, therefore I am reserving the right to recruit 5 additional pilots at a later time if I deem it good for the squadron. Consider it the Squadron Commander's prerogative.
After all, the original commander of the Lafayette Escadrille, Captain Georges Thenault exercised his prerogative and took possession of the sole Spad that the squadron was first allocated for his own personal use. Consider those 5 additional spots mine. (& yeah, if I was him I totally would have snagged the Spad for myself too)
(*edit: The Lafayette Flying Corps however did consist of somewhere between 180-300 pilots.. so I guess that is always a possibility.. but it is one I am not willing or wanting to consider doing anytime in the near future.)

Lets all give a round of applause to our own Fiery Tiger for getting 10,000 KILLS!!!

Here are the screenshots.
The game started as Match between LEGENDS and Gunners Inc. We were 2 and G.I.s were 4. Becken left as their was lag on his side.
I got my promotion to Level 27 in this game
I was playing against 6 Reds, including a MORAF, alone. But then =£= Fiery Tiger, he joined as red and then switched to my side to help me. And then we fought the Reds. Some of them left and atlast we bombed their hangers.




Zebra, you can see the Promotion Pop Up in middle of the game.

Congrats on your promotion Killer! & yeah, I see that. Also nice to see the 2 of you had a great game & ran off most the reds lol!
& Kudos to Rocky for sticking in there to the bitter end!

Bad news squad buds. I won't be playing for a while, exactly how long I won't be I don't know but it could be up to a couple of weeks, I'll come back on as soon as possible, I'll still be around on the forum though.
