People wonder how I get so many hangers. Getting 8 Hangers with 4 bombs in 1 pass helps. My first set with the Spitfire. FEAR the =£=

Our innovative engineers are working on a new lightweight tank.. said to be faster than all other WWI tanks and useful for amphibious assaults as well... I have my doubts as I believe this was an alcohol induced idea and I doubt balsa wood provides much protection lol!

Our Top Secret staff of engineers has done it once again!! They have developed a revolutionary idea called Brewster Body Armor ® (Patent Pending) It is a bit heavy and cumbersome, yet it makes you immune to machine gun bullets!!! Unfortunately tests parachuting out of planes with it didn't fare so well as the parachutes were unable to handle that much weight and as 6 volunteers found out the Brewster Body Armor® does not protect you from high speed catastrophic impact with the ground...


I'm still not sure if Brewster is a guys name or the name of the group of beer guzzling idea guys we're using...

All Lafayette personnel are to be on the lookout for odd looking birds! (Your fellow pilots not included..)
Seems those dastardly innovative Germans have trained pigeons to fly across the lines and take photographs! (Of what or who I don't know however..) Their aim isn't so good so your head may be chopped off in the picture, but it is on a time delay system so don't blame the pigeons if you have to hold your pose for a bit...

From the so-called geniuses at the French Top Secret weapons development program comes this thing...



Evidently someone there saw their hamster safe from the house cat while wheeling around the house in a ball-cage and thought that would work for advancing through the trenchlines at the front... umm.. yeah.. no... what happens to a ball that you can't see through and is loaded with machine guns?? I don't know but I don't want to be around it.

I'm overjoyed to welcome back Predator & Weaze£ into the escadrille once again!! Welcome Home!! :woohoo:

And for those of you who don't know, after 6 months without playing (180 days) we remove pilots from our active roster/game squadron BUT they still remain Lafayette.. all they have to do is start playing again and send us a join request and they are automatically accepted.

I know Lafayette is comprised of pilots from all over the world yet is at heart the historical escadrille of WWI which was made up of 38 pilots from the United States of America to support and fight for freedom (and good wine and pretty French girls). so.........
