Looks like May 12th is the day DF1 goes to Elite. Over the past few months I have been pushing my way through level 30 and headed for MORAF. I had hoped that I would have had a little bit more time to get there but I knew the day was coming that Dogfight would be no more. I looked at my score and I was 125,000 points away as of last Wednesday. Actually, I was probably farther than that. I started doing the math and the amount of points I would need to accumulate each day, along with work and home responsibities, made me think that I would not be able to wear the title of MORAF even if for a short while. It was a goal that I have been working towards for two years this May.

Then I said to myself "Self! Aren't you a Gunner? Do Gunners surrender??? Hell No!!!!"

It wasn't over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor and it ain't over now!!

As of writing this post I am just under 55k away. I will post here on the forum and on squad chat as I get closer. Reds are gonna be dropping, tanks are going to explode, your chute won't save you, and your boat is going to sink.

Hope to see all of you in the skies. Hope you are blue. If you happen to show up red please don't run. You will only die tired.

Good evening GI, I'm enjoying Elite quite a bit, I've had difficulty logging in with my main Dogfight account, had to use my other account (The one currently in Wolfpack and the account that I first started Dogfight with but thought it was lost when I was with GI during its beginning) I sent a message to support, hopefully it'll get resolved.

welcome to may! i spent the day outside as it was sunny and not frozen. there is no movement in the top 30 to report on this week. i plan to get up in the air at some point this weekend to fight a few good battles. i hope you all are enjoying your spring!

I was watching this video, and two things came to mind:

1) Who remembers when my iPad screen was broke and I couldn't type a 2 or a W?

2) You see how easy brandman adjusts his aim, something I could never do on my iPad 3. I'm not sure about all the tilt players having this issue, as maybe some of the newer devices with a faster processor can adjust easy as well.

Somebody should talk zup out of merging DF with DF Elite. Or at least have a vote before going ahead with such a big step.

Guys, I have enough money to buy (not buy + upgrade) one of the top planes. currently i have the triplane on the german side and se5a on the allied side. which should i go for?

Hey Arm, there's no much diference between the Camel and the Schuckert, so its up to you.

Either one you want, but don't fly them until you can upgrade them. Just stay in your Triplane and SE5a to save money. Once you get enough upgrade your top tier plane, and fly some more, upgrade, etc. etc. until you feel competent enough with the new plane then fly it. Otherwise stay in the older ones until your new one is fully upgraded (except upgrading bullets, do that last).

Then when you can, buy the other plane and repeat.

both the camel and siemens are great planes to fly. i cant really decide on which is better. i suppose the german one is a bit smaller so that may factor in, but just kill a whole bunch of reds and buy em both!
