The same thing could happen with Facebook. Once something is posted, it becomes Facebook's property, so if you ever see your face on a *ahem* enlargement ad, you'll know how it got there.

I wasnt talking about u cal. And facebook is a diff story, beause u have to go thru legal processes and they keep records of everything, and i keep my facebook profile page that only freinds can see so freaks cant acess it.


And sput the people that it happened to, probablly thought the same way that no one does that. It doesnt happen to everyone but better safe than sorry.

Well, they might figure out where the pic was taken, and ask around, though most likely, no one would help them. Except maybe some unintelligent teen.

As for how they'd find you, if I really wanted to, I could find most people here. I have no interest in doing that, of course, but it can be done.

In reallity, the argument that kids shouldn't post pics on the Internet because some pedophile might *ahem* to them is just pointless. If there's someone here that gets turned on by seeing a picture of me and my friends, we just have to accept that. The two pictures I've posted were me in my room with my Duck gear, and one of me and my friends in Florida. Can you really keep people from seeing kids in tshirts and shorts? No. You can't prevent some old guy from getting turned on by kids. The chances of someone being sexually attracted to me, so they stalk me across the country are non existant. If they want sex, again, they wouldn't need to find me to "r word" a kid. If they hate me enough to hunt and kill me, well, too bad. Anyone that insane would leave a huge trail.

Bomer and Vortex, yes, I'm sure that things like that have happened. People HAVE been STALKED AND KILLED BY PSYCHOPATHS. IT IS A FACT. It's also a fact that people are killed by cars. Do you walk home from school? That's common, thouh, easily prevented. A better analogy is someone jumping through my window at night, unprevoked, and beating me to death with a hammer. It's probably happened, and it definately could, but that doesn't mean I'm never going to sleep, carry a gun, and live in a steel room.

There's no such thing as saftey. If someone really wants to commit a crime, they can commit it. There's no way to protect yourself from everything. That doesn't mean you should be reckless, but there's no point to excessive safety. If you're scared of someone "R wording" you, we have a thead here dedicated to knives, a thread dedicated to guns, I think there's one for martial arts, and all of them have been discussed. Do what gives you the illusion of safety, but that's all it is. It's an illusion.
