War Wolves is Dogfight’s newest squadron. We focus primarily on camaraderie and playing the game in such a way which makes it fun and challenging. We aim to make an impact in the Dogfight community by being the ideal squadron which encourages fair play, and discourages unsportsmanlike conduct. If you’re interested in joining our brotherhood/sisterhood & you’re at least a level 11, play with us in the game, and express interest while you’re in the game. If we feel like you are a positive force within the game, it’s likely you’ll be able to join our brotherhood/sisterhood.
War Wolves’ By-Laws:
1) Always play the game to have fun.
2) Encourage others have fun and promote fair play.
3) Don’t do anything which is obviously taking advantage of circumstances which would give you an unfair advantage. This includes: unnecessary dropping, camping to gather kills, tank-glitching, knowingly flying invisible, and generally anything which doesn’t encourage sportsmanship.
4) Look for second opinions when you find yourself in a conflict with another player. Remember, when you argue with crazy people…bystanders can’t tell you apart.
5) All War Wolves must have the squadron tag as a suffix to their name; for example, [WW]Wolf
6) We encourage all members of the War Wolves brotherhood/sisterhood to choose a name which is canis related. Be thoughtful in your selection. Try not to change your name frequently because this causes confusion and might come across a shady sometimes.
7) Running a squadron is a collective effort. When you join War Wolves, know that you will be an active participate in making our squadron as inclusive as possible.
- a. When decisions are taken, all members have an equal say!
- b. We will attempt to achieve consensus on all issues of discussion. (Remember, it’s a game, be flexible!)
- c. In those circumstances where disagreement persist, a super-majority is required.
- d. A super-majority is 2/3rds of the membership
- e. In all decision, ask yourself, “Will this change make the game more appealing and make our squadron more unified”.
Special Honors
War Wolves loves to see its member fly well and have fun. To honor our members who do well, we have a *star system* in place. As long has you have over 50 kills in a game, then your kill-to-death ratio could earn you stars, which you can add to your name squadron tag. The levels are as follows:
- One star = 2/1 KDR
- Two stars = 3/1 KDR
- Three stars = 4/1 KDR
- Four stars = 5/1 KDR
- Five stars = 6/1 KDR
- Six stars = 7/1 KDR
Thanks!
