I was in a scenario with a player named Eville this afternoon. He was profane and abusive, even after being admonished by myself and Swopwith Camel. I threatened him with being banned, and he told me to "suck it". Hoop was in game also. Any recourse, or do we have to tolerate that kind of behavior?

Ah the evil guy is a real jack. He is way to cocky and if you shoot him down he tells you suck his you know what. He is very disterbed so have fun slender baning him. Just ban him permitly because we don't need slime like him.

yeah, i just list players that continually annoy people. foofighter, for example. he annoys lots of people. lolking is new, so he hasnt had a chance yet. maybe he'll reform tho. i used to trash talk a lot too.

To tell u guys the truth I havnt had any problems with anyone. Usually when someone gets mad at me they use foul language for the game and then they just forget about it. I do the same thing.

im fine with a new player swearing a bit, thinking its like XBOX Live, and then realizing that this is different, but when someone high ranking like that does it, it's different. he's always mean spirited with me, he gets revenge on players who accidentally shoot him, etc. I don't mind it if you lose your cool once in a while, but not like this.

I've got nothing against foofighter He's actually my friend..also, I think he's in the 111th. (I think)

Since B. Strachan is the top player, there are several impersonators; medium and low-rank players who've borrowed his name, or parts of it, in an attempt to seem more dangerous than they are.

B.Strachan himself, from what I've seen of him in the games, often acts as an intermediary, trying to calm angry players, asking them not to offend others or call them names.

War games are naturally aggressive, and on-line war games more so than others. Abusive language is very common.

That Stuart brought his 8-year-old cousin with him to play Dogfight says it all: "Dogfight" is different from other war-games.

My guess is it has to do with the historical setting, possibly also the age profile of the users, but most of all with the careful choice of game options, tools and visual effects that Joaquin Grech has incorporated into the game.

I would like it if we tried to keep Dogfight that way: as much as possible a polite and respectful game. Not by strict measures, but by showing a good example.

I aggree with stuart......But I for one believe that if your old enough to play this game, then you should be old enough to know how to be courteous to others....I love this game, but will quit in a heart beat if there isnt any change....I am a father of 3 and have never heard any such language from my kids....
Dont get me wrong....many here are very kind and respectful of others......there are a handful of players ( new and experienced) that know better but dont seem to care

Ugh. Truly I am disgusted and I want to apologize sincerely. I myself have both a younger brother and other young family members who play Dogfight and whom I don't want seeing that.




This week, I'll be on patrol. I'm changing my name completely and I'll be on the lookout for all these players. A lot of the times -- (as Zuperman once told us all a long time ago) people act all nice and good when a mod/admin is in the server. This way I can catch them off guard. I'll be playing a lot this week. I'll (secretly) see you all in the skies.
